1 MINUTES OF THE FINANCE AND HUMAN RESOURCES COMMITTEE MEETING HELD ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 11, 2026 1. The meeting was called to order by Ald. Saryan at 6:00 P.M. Present: Ald. Kastner Ald. Saryan Ald. Approval of the November 12, 2025 Finance & Human Resources minutes. Motion by Ald. Bailey, seconded by Ald. Kastner, to approve the November 12, 2025 Finance & Human Resources minutes. The motion carried unanimously. 3. Discussion and decision to approve funds transfer from PD capital equipment accounts into a new capital equipment account designated for a generator replacement. Acting Police Chief Lindstrom stated there was an issue with the generator, but the generator is 20 years old. The replacement item is approximately $2500, plus an additional $500-$1000 for installation, to do repairs. However, the generator will likely need to be replaced in the next three years, so it would make more sense to replace the generator now instead of replacing the part. Acting Police Chief Lindstrom is requesting to move funds to the new capital equipment account as they work to get bids for the generator replacement. Motion by Ald. Kastner, seconded by Ald. Bailey, to approve the funds transfer from PD capital equipment accounts into a new capital equipment account designated for a generator replacement. The motion carried unanimously. 4.
