City of Franklin Approved Quarry Monitoring Committee Meeting July 28, 2026 May 12, 2026 Minutes I. Call to Order and Roll Call Chair Dina Swanson called the May 12, 2026 Quarry Monitoring Committee to order at 6:0 0 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Franklin City Hall, 9229 W. Loomis Road, Franklin, Wisconsin. Present w ere Chair Dina Swanson, Vice Chair Nabil Salous , Alderman Yousef Hasan and Members Edward Pings and Jon TenHaken. Also present were Planning Manager Régulo Martínez-Montilva, Kristen Gunderson -Inden of Stantec Consulting Services (remote), Bryanna Bucholtz and Jake Snyder of Payne & Dolan. II. Approval of Minutes Member Tenhaken moved and Vice Char Salous seconded a motion to approve the minutes of the January 27, 2026. On voice vote, all voted ‘aye;’ motion carried (5-0-0). III. Citizen Comment The Citizen Comment period opened at 6:01 pm and closed at 6:01 pm. IV. Business a. Selection of chair and vice-chair Alderman Hasan nominated Alderman Salous for Chair. On voice vote, all voted ‘aye; motion carried (5-0-0). Alderman Salous nominated Chair Swanson for Vice Chair. On voice vote, all voted ‘aye; motion carried (5-0-0). b. Presentation by Stantec Consulting Services, Inc., 1st quarter of 2026 (Jan-Mar). Kristen Gunderson-Inden presented the quarterly report. V. Schedule next meeting Next meeting is scheduled for July 28, 2026. VI. Adjournment Alderman Hasan moved and Member Pings seconded to adjourn the May 12, 2026 Quarry Monitoring Committee meeting at 6:11 pm. On voice vote, all voted ‘aye;’ motion carried (5-0-0).
