The Oak Creek Public Library Board met on Thursday, July 9 , 202 6 . P resent were Pamela Aiken, Sharon Armstrong , Greg Loreck , Jill Meyer, Karen Umbs an d J ill L ininger . Stephanie Matthews w as excused . Armstrong called the meeting to order at 5: 0 2 p . m . New Business • A motion was made by Loreck and seconded by Sagan to approve the minutes of June 11 , 2026. Motion carried. • A motion was made by Umbs and seconded by Loreck to approve the June 202 6 vendor summary in the amount of $ 9 8, 341 . 13 . Motion carried. • A motion was made by Loreck and seconded by Aiken to add the $18,000 previously earmarked for Hoopla to the MCFLS Overdrive Advantage account . Motion carried. Informational and Discussion Items • Director J ill Lininger provided updates on: o Budget and revenue: Discussed library fines and fees for 2027. o Monthly staff report highlights: The Summer Reading program continues to add new members. Currently there are 850 registrants. The City Worker story time continues to be very popular with a few sessions having record attendance . o Monthly calendar highlights : A motion was made by Sagan and seconded by Aiken to adjourn at 5: 44 p.m. Motion carried.
