The Oak Creek Public Library Board met on Thursday, June 11 , 202 6 . Those present were Sharon Armstrong , Karen Umbs , Greg Loreck, Stephanie Matthews, Carol Sagan an d J ill L ininger . Pam Aiken and Jill Meyer were excused. Armstrong called the meeting to order at 5: 0 0 p . m . New Business • Mayor Dan presented Umbs and Armstrong with Mayoral Challenge Coins to acknowledge their years of service on the Library Board. Umbs has been on the board for 35 years and Armstrong has served on the board for 18 years. • A motion was made by Loreck and seconded by Umbs to approve the minutes of March 12 , 2026. Motion carried. • A motion was made by Sagan and seconded by Loreck to elect Sharon Armstrong as President, Karen Umbs as Vice President and Jill Meyer as Secretary of the Oak Creek Public Library Board of Trustees for the term of July 2026 – June 2027 . Motion carried. • A motion was made by Umbs and seconded by Matthews to approve the March 202 6 vendor summary in the amount of $ 114,597.96 . Motion carried. • A motion was made by Sagan and seconded by Matthews to approve the April 2026 vendor summary in the amount of $ 134,963.88. Motion carried. • A motion was made by Umbs and seconded by Sagan to approve the May 2026 vendor summary in the amount of $ 149,385.81 . Motion carried. Informational and Discussion Items • The board had preliminary discussions about updates to the 2027 budget. A motion was made by Sagan and seconded by Loreck to adjourn at 5:34 p.m. Motion carried.
