CITY OF SOUTH MILWAUKEE OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMON COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING MAY 6, 2026 The special meeting of the Common Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m. on May 6, 2026, by Mayor Brett Briesemeister in the Council Chambers at South Milwaukee City Hall, 2424 15th Avenue, South Milwaukee, Wisconsin. On roll call Ald Craig Maass, Ald Michal Olechowski, Ald Tim Backes, Ald Joe Bukowski, Ald Lisa Pieper, Ald David Bartoshevich, and Ald Peggy Clark were present. The Common Council conducted an interview for the Alderperson District 1 vacancy of Eric Euteneier. After one round of voting, the winning candidate was Eric Euteneier with 5 votes to appoint. Bukowski/Pieper moved to confirm the appointment of Eric Euteneier as Alderperson District 1 for the term ending April 19, 2027. Motion carried 7-0.
