All members were present apart from Trustee Arndorfer, who was excused. President McKaig appeared virtually at 7:38pm. 2. Roll C a ll 3. Consider Ordinance 3089, authorizing the Village Clerk to issue provisional alcohol license and repealing the economic development grant for reserve “ Class B ” alcohol licenses. 7:35 pm Trustee Stokebrand moved to approve Ordinance 3089 and it was seconded by Trustee McGovern . Motion carried by a roll call vote of 6-0. b. Consider Ordinance 3091 for traffic control at intersection of N. Farwell Avenue and E. Beverly Road 7:38 pm Trustee Couto moved to approve Ordinance 3091 an ordinance control traffic on N. Farwell Avenue at the intersection of E. Beverly Road, and it was seconded by Trustee McGovern . Motion carried by a roll call vote of (Ircink, McKaig) 4-2. c. Consider Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the City of Glendale and Village of Shorewood for the Redevelopment of 4100-4182 N. Hubbard Street 7:44 pm Trustee Ircink moved to approve the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the City of Glendale and Village of Shorewood for the Redevelopment of 4100-4182 N. Hubbard Street as depicted in Exhibit A. It was seconded by Trustee McGovern . Motion carried. d. Consider Atwater Beach Lifeguard Coverage Expansion 7:48 pm Trustee Couto recommended that staff work with Lakefront Lifeguard Services, LLC to review the costs associated with additional equipment and expanded hours of operation. Trustee Stokebrand requested that the cost analysis also includes an option to improve the geographic footprint and suggested exploring potential funding sources to possibly offer a paddle sport launching area . 10. Report of Village Officials 8:16 pm a. Village President i. Milwaukee Intergovernmental Cooperation Council (ICC) - July 13, 2026 b. Village Trustees i. Trustee Couto communicated with Director Butschlick regarding the Lake Bluff and Kenmore intersections. The intersections are expected to open approximately August 20 and will remain open for as long as possible during the road construction. c. Village Manager i. Payment software transition 11. Future items of Consideration 12. Closed Session Trustee Couto moved to go into closed session pursuant to Wis. Stat. Sec. 19.85 (1)(e) to deliberate or negotiate the purchasing of public properties, where competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session to discuss prospective properties for a new DPW site. It was s econded by Trustee Warren . Motion carried by a roll call vote of 6-0. Adjourned into closed session at 8:21p. The Board discussed prospective properties. Tr. Couto moved, seconded by Tr. Stokebrand to reconvene into open session at 9:32 pm. Motion carried 6- 0. 13. Adjournment Tr. Couto moved, seconded by Tr. Stokebrand to adjourn at 9:32 pm. Motion carried 6-0.
