Town of Spooner WASHBURN COUNTY – WISCONSIN September 10, 2024 6pm Spooner Town Hall N6124 Blooming Vale Road, Spooner MINUTES REGULAR BOARD MEETING Call to Order: Meeting was called to order by Chairman Frankiewicz. Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Members present: Chairman Gary Frankiewicz, Supervisor Jon Johnson, Supervisor Miles Macone, Treasurer Joan Avery, Clerk Leslie Arf Others present: Rick Seckora, Mabi Plisky Minutes of June Regular Meeting: Motion to approve: Supervision Macone, Second Supervisor Johnson, motion passed. Treasurer’s Report: Savings account hold all of our tax portion for the year. Will get transferred to MM account. Correspondence: None Old Business NONE New Business: Acceptance of agreement with City Of Spooner for Town Residents to use Wood Burning Facility. City is meeting tonight regarding this issue. *City passed motion during our meeting We can pick up keys next week. Gary and Jon will hold keys. Town of Spooner will pay $1000 per year to the City. Motion to approve by Supervisor Macone. Seconded by Supervisor Johnson. Motion passed If motion doesn’t pass motion to send letter to DNR to drop signed agreement. Motion to approve Supervisor Macone Second Supervisor Johnson Sale of Tractor. Sale price minimum $4500. Motion to approve sale Chairman Frankiewicz Second Supervisor Johnson, motion passed Highway Update and Expenditures: Pot holes were repaired on Degenaar Rd, There are still some to be finished. Call from resident no road sign at Dilly Lake and Blooming Valley. Possibly move No Outlet sign and get road signs Mann Rd will be blacktopped when the plant comes Payment of Bills: Motion by Supervisor Johnson to approve the payment of bills Second by Macone motion carried unanimously. Next Regular Board Meeting Date: Tuesday October 8th 2024 6pm Future Agenda Items: Lake District Report Draft for 2025 Budget Adjourn: Motion by Supervisor Macone, seconded by Supervisor Johnson.
