BROWN DEER SPECIAL VILLAGE BOARD MAY 12 , 202 6 MEETING MINUTES HELD AT THE BROWN DEER VILLAGE HALL 4800 WEST GREEN BROOK DRIVE The meeting was called to order by President Montgomery at 5 :00pm. I. Roll Call Present: President Montgomery, Trustees Greaves, Johnson, Owens , and Thompson Excused: Trustee Woods Also Present : Village Attorney Nathan Bayer , Development Attorney Alan Marcuvitz, and Village Manager Tyler Burkart II. Recess into Closed Session Pursuant to Wis. Stat. §19.85(1)(e) for the Following Reasons: (e) for the purpose of deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session – Resolution No. 26-04: Relocation Order to Acquire Property in a Blighted Area in TID #5 It was moved by Trustee Thompson and seconded by Trustee Greaves at 5:01pm to convene into closed session pursuant to Wis. Stat. 19.85(1)(e) for the purpose of deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session specifically resolution no. 26-04 relocation order to acquire property in a blighted area in TID #5. The motion was carried unanimously. III. Reconvene into Open Session for Possible Action on Closed Session Deliberations It was moved by Trustee Johnson and seconded by Trustee Thompson to reconvene into open session at 5:36pm. It was moved by Trustee Thompson and seconded by Trustee Greaves to adopt resolution no. 26-04 relocation order to acquire property in a blighted area in TID #5 and to send to County Clerk.
