BROWN DEER LIBRARY BOARD March 9, 2026 MEETING MINUTES (Unapproved) The meeting was called to order by President C. McGuigan at 11:02 A.M. I. Roll Call Present: Board members: President C. McGuigan, C. Hoehn, D. Woods, and D. Zimmer Also Present: Dana Andersen-Kopczyk, Library Director Excused: K. Turner II. Call for Additional Agenda Items None III. Persons Desiring to be Heard None IV. Consideration of Minutes: a. February 9, 2026 – Regular Meeting It was moved by D. Woods and seconded by D. Zimmer to approve the minutes of the February 9, 2026 regular meeting. The motion carried unanimously. V. Unfinished Business None VI. Report of Library Director a. Director’s Report There were no verbal highlights or discussion. b. Usage Report Request was made for different colors to be used for charts. c. Revenue/Expense Report There were no verbal highlights or discussion of the report. VII. New Business a. Consideration: Approval of February 2026 vouchers It was moved by C. Hoehn and seconded by D. Zimmer to approve the February 2026 vouchers. The motion carried unanimously. b. Consideration: 225 Annual Report to DPI It was moved by D. Woods and seconded by C. Hoehn to approve the 2025 annual report to DPI. The motion carried unanimously. c. Update: Spring Library Staff Training Day There were no verbal highlights or discussion. d. Consideration: Maintenance Agreement for Generator Tabled. e. Consideration: Quote from LFI for Additional Endcap Panels It was moved by D. Woods and seconded by C. Hoehn to approve accepting the quote from LFI for additional endcap panels. The motion carried unanimously. f. Consideration: Changing the Date of the April 2026 Library Board Meeting It was moved by D. Woods and seconded by D. Zimmer to change the date of the April 2026 Library Board meeting to Monday April 20th at 11:00A.M. The motion carried unanimously. g. Discussion: Library Strategic Plan There were no verbal highlights or discussion. VIII. Report of Friends of the Brown Deer Library The next meeting of the Friends will be on Tuesday March 10 at 11:00am. Pi(e) Day will return this year, and will be held on Saturday March 14. IX. Adjournment Next meeting: April 20, 2026 It was moved by D. Woods and seconded by C. Hoehn to adjourn at 1:07P.M. The motion carried unanimously.
