Members present: Gary Frankiewicz, Jon Johnson, Miles Macone, Shauna Lindstrom, Joan Avery Others present: Richard Shipman, Deb Shipman, Tom Moats, Jean Moats, George Kissinger, Joseph Banick, Polly Banick, Mike Saunders, Pat Inman, Gary Inman, Chris Thompson, Chris-Monarch Paving Company Minutes of April 20, 2021 Regular Meeting: Motion by Jon Johnson to approve April 20, 2021 minutes, seconded by Miles Macone. Motion carried unanimously. Treasurer’s Report: Motion by Miles Macone to accept April 2021 Treasurer’s Report, seconded by Jon Johnson. Motion carried unanimously. Correspondence: • Letter from Washburn County Clerk, Lolita Olson, regarding $2,400 grant information that is available for clean-up day. Chairman Frankiewicz will contact Clerk Olson for more details. Public Comments: • Is it possible to make ATV ordinance available for township residents before adoption and delay adopting until next meeting? • Could draft ordinance be made available to residents to view before adoption? • Thank you for moving public comments. Would like to view draft ordinance before adoption. Is it possible to delay boat pass ordinance until after May 29 Spooner Lake District meeting? New Business: • Bids were opened for Spooner Lake Road project. Two bids were received. Discussion was held on bids received. Motion to approve bid from Monarch Paving Company in the amount of $58,497 for the total project by Supervisor Miles Macone; seconded by Supervisor Jon Johnson. Motion carried unanimously. • Motion to adopt ATV Ordinance No. 05-11-2021 as presented by Chairman Frankiewicz by Miles Macone; seconded by Jon Johnson. Motion carried unanimously. • Motion to adopt Ordinance No. 04-20-2021 to include Non-Resident Boat Launch Passes by Miles Macone, seconded by Jon Johnson. Motion carried unanimously. • Motion to approve Spooner Golf Club, Inc. Liquor License as advertised by Clerk by Gary Frankiewicz; seconded by Miles Macone. Motion carried unanimously. Will set a date for road inspection tour. Payment of Bills (including status of Town Budget vs Actual expenses to date and Balance Sheet): Motion by Miles Macone to approve payment of bills in the amount of $3,496.92; motion seconded by Jon Johnson. Motion carried unanimously.
