Town of Somers Proceedings from the Town Board Meeting June 9, 2026 Chairman Molinaro called the meeting to order at 5:15 p.m. Present: Chairman Molinaro, Supervisor James Armes and Supervisor Richard Lesko. Also present: Administrator Jim Hurley, Assistant Administrator Kevin Poirier, Clerk Treasurer Wendy Burnette and Chief Andersen Chairman Molinaro led the Pledge of Allegiance. Consent and Approval of Minutes of Town Board meetings on May 12, 2026 Supervisor Armes moved to approve Minutes of Town Board meetings on May 12, 2026 Seconded by Supervisor Lesko. Motion carried. 3-0 vote Correspondence: Letters from the City of Kenosha regarding the rezoning of parcel 07-222-24-393-027, attachment of parcels 80-4-222-234-0191 and 80-4-222-304-0301 Citizens’ comments: None Chair & Supervisor Comments None Action on Resolution 2026-017 and letter to the Bureau of Indian Affairs Objecting to Section 151 Request to Acquire Land in Trust for Gaming for the Proposed Menominee Indian Tribe Hard Rock Casino Project to be located in the City of Kenosha Supervisor Armes moved to approve Resolution 2026-017 and letter to the Bureau of Indian Affairs Objecting to Section 151 Request to Acquire Land in Trust for Gaming for the Proposed Menominee Indian Tribe Hard Rock Casino Project to be located in the City of Kenosha Seconded by Supervisor Lesko Motion carried. 3-0 vote Action on renewal of Mobile Home Park Licenses from Pleasant Prairie Mobile Home Court, 11703 60th Street and Kenosha MHP LLC (formerly Hillcrest) Mobile Home Park, 3705 27th Street Supervisor Armes moved to approve Mobile Home Park Licenses from Pleasant Prairie Mobile Home Court, 11703 60th Street and Kenosha MHP LLC (formerly Hillcrest) Mobile Home Park, 3705 27th Street Seconded by Supervisor Lesko Motion carried. 3-0 vote Public Hearing on Class “B” and Class “B” on Renewal Alcohol Beverage License Applications for 2025-2026 was held at 5:18. Public Hearing was closed at 5:19 Action on Class “B” and “Class B” Renewal Retail Alcohol Beverage License Applications for B.B.'s Pub; Sturino's and Tacos El Rey Supervisor Armes moved to approve Class “B” and “Class B” Renewal Retail Alcohol Beverage License Applications for B.B.'s Pub; Sturino's and Tacos El Rey Seconded by Supervisor Lesko Motion carried. 3-0 vote Action on Amusement Device License Applications for B.B.'s Pub; Sturino's and Tacos El Rey Supervisor Armes moved to approve Amusement Device License Applications for B.B.'s Pub; Sturino's and Tacos El Rey Seconded by Supervisor Lesko Motion carried. 3-0 vote Action on Cigarette and Tobacco License Applications for Temptations (formerly Superb Video) Supervisor Armes moved to approve Cigarette and Tobacco License Applications for Temptations (formerly Superb Video) Seconded by Supervisor Lesko Motion carried. 3-0 vote Action on approval of Operator Licenses: Mary Perez Supervisor Lesko moved to approve Operator Licenses: Mary Perez Seconded by Supervisor Armes Motion carried. 3-0 vote Adjourn Supervisor Armes moved to Adjourn at 5:23 pm.
