Notice of Public Hearing Town of Paris Plan Commission NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be conducted by the Town of Paris Plan Commission on Monday, May 18, 2026 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Town of Paris Safety Building, 16607 Burlington Road, Union Grove Wisconsin 53182 to consider a proposed amendment to the Land Use Plan Map for the Town of Paris of the Comprehensive Plan for Kenosha County. The purpose of the public hearing is to accept public comment on the proposed amendment. An application has been filed with Kenosha County and the Town of Paris by Robert S. & Angeline K. Markiewicz , 19709 1 st  St., Union Grove, WI 53182-9424 (Owner), Chris Bower, 1818 S. Colony Ave., Union Grove WI 53182-9695 (Agent), requesting an  amendment to the Adopted Land Use Plan map for Kenosha county: 2035 (map 65 of the comprehensive plan)  from “Farmland Protection” to “Farmland Protection” & “Rural-Density Residential” on Tax Parcel #45-4-221-052-0300, located in the northwest ¼ of Section 5, T2N, R21E, Town of  Paris . Robert S. & Angeline K. Markiewicz , 19709 1 st  St., Union Grove, WI 53182-9424 (Owner), Chris Bower, 1818 S. Colony Ave., Union Grove WI 53182-9695 (Agent), requesting a  rezoning  from A-1 Agricultural Preservation Dist. to A-1 Agricultural Preservation Dist., R-1 Rural Residential Dist., C-1 Lowland Resource Conservancy Dist. & PUD Planned Unit Development Overlay Dist. on Tax Parcel #45-4-221-052-0300, located in the northwest ¼ of Section 5, T2N, R21E, Town of  Paris . During the Public Hearing, the public is invited to speak on the application. Written comments can be submitted to the Town Clerk prior to the meeting and shall become part of the record. The Public Hearing shall be closed when all interested parties in attendance have had a chance to offer comment. Upon the close of the Public Hearing, a meeting of the Town of Paris Plan Commission shall be called to order and the application shall be addressed per the agenda.
