Town Board — Minutes

February 24, 2025 Present were Sue Hughes, George Bailitz, Nancy Kemp, Amy Hookstead Excused were Tim Gaffron, Julie Horbach, Callie Rucker 1. The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Hughes at 6:00 p.m. 2. Supervisor Hughes led those present with the Pledge of Allegiance. 3. Minutes: A motion by Kemp/Bailitz to approve the January 27, 2025 minutes as presented, motion carried. 4. Reports: a. Committee and reports from floor: None b. Clerk: None c. Treasurer mailed out the pier leases. d. Supervisors: • Mrs. Horbach: Excused • Mr. Bailitz questioned property in the Town of Randall. • Mrs. Hughes reported that we are waiting on Spectrum to upgrade our phone system and internet. She’s looking into getting codification of our ordinances done. She will be linking everyone into HeyGov on our website. • Ms. Kemp: None e. Chairman Gaffron: Excused 5. Citizens Comments: None 6. Business: Town Board items: a. Tabled. Plan Commission reduction of membership. A motion was made by Kemp/Bailitz to remove from the table. After discussion, a motion was made by Bailitz/Kemp to adopt the ordinance for the Plan Commission reduction of membership. Motion carried. b. Updated Randall ATV Resolution/Ordinance . Discussion followed. A motion was made by Kemp/Bailitz to table. Motion carried. c. Tree(s) evaluation at 9210 400 th Avenue. Supervisor Hughes had Bill’s Top-Notch Tree Service look at the trees. Bill provided a soft quote of $1,200 per tree for the three trees. Supervisor Hughes will see if Bill will cap his quote at $3,600. 7. Other Business allowed by law. Supervisor Bailitz inquired about speed bumps at Hwy KD & C. Supervisor Kemp requested to put Ethics Board request for members and possible appointments on the next agenda. 8. Bills: A motion by Bailitz/Kemp to approve the bills as presented in the amount of $4,379,997.24 check numbers 41726-41754 including Feb-2 and BILLPAY. Motion carried. 9.
