4. Reports:
a. Committee and reports from floor: Sue Hughes made changes to the town website; however,
Town Web is restrictive on changes that can be made. She found another vendor called Civic
Plus that allows for more flexibility. The cost would be $3,000 for the first year and $2,000 for
subsequent years. Chief Ferger gave the water patrol report for August to date. Chief Balog,
who retired from the Village of Genoa City Police Department, has joined our water patrol
team. Water patrol will be over budget with an estimated $7,500 in remaining expenses for
the rest of the year, so we will need to amend the budget. Chief Ferger will inquire about the
winter buoys. Uncle Ed donated $500 towards the winter buoys.

c. Treasurer: None
d. Supervisors:
• Mrs. Horbach reported a gentleman that lives in Nippersink volunteered to fix up Fox Park.
He did a nice job and Supervisor Horbach sent him a thank you note. Supervisor Horbach
attended the Powers Lake Management meeting. Chief Ferger gave a water patrol report
that was well received at this meeting. They talked about the winter buoys and suggested
that we ask Bloomfield to help contribute to the purchase of the buoys. Chief Ferger
estimated the cost to be approximately $10,000.
• Mr. Bailitz spoke with Chris at the Kenosha County Highway Department regarding the
installation of a speed limit sign near the Scriptures’.
• Open: None
• Ms. Kemp reported that Root-Pike WIN is offering us the opportunity to put in a pollinator
patch at the Town Hall. There is a $1,000 grant to use by late fall. We would need ten
volunteers, and this would need to be done by mid-October.
e. Chairman Gaffron provided an EMS update. There are two open contracts from Twin Lakes,
and we are waiting on a contract from Salem Lakes for the joint district opportunity. He spoke
with Cassandra and she’s hoping to have it to us in the next couple weeks. He would like to put
on the next agenda to possibly modify wards and assignments. He received a call from a
resident regarding 385th that the road is in disrepair. He will tour the road tomorrow. Twin
Lakes passed an ATV/UTV ordinance to ride on town roads with posted speed limits under 35
mph. This topic may be coming to Randall in the near future. Tim will be in firefighter school
September – November on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
