Page 1 of 3 The Wheatland Town Board met on Monday, June 23, 2025 at 6:00PM at the Wheatland Town Hall. The pledge of Allegiance was recited. Roll call Chairmen: Jeff Butler Supervisor #1: Kyle Madsen (Excused) Supervisor #2: Kelly Wilson Also in attendance were Katie Sweatman, Clerk, Shannon Herda, Treasurer, Lou Denko, Fire Chief, Robert Santelli, Constable, Mark Jaslowski, Tom and DeAnna Delimat, and Diane Grenus. Verification of public notice for agenda was submitted to Wheatland School, the Subscription list and West of the I. Approval of minutes of prior meeting(s) June 9, 2025 and the Board of Review to Adjourn June 9, 2025 Motion was made by Chairmen Butler to approve the June 9, 2025 and the Board of Review to Adjourn June 9, 2025 minutes as presented and seconded by Supervisor Wilson. Motion passed. No public comments were noted. Board of Review 1st meeting reschedule date – possible dates to consider are August 20th or the 27th Decision was tabled until next Town Board meeting. EMS Contract for 2026-2027 – This is a continuation of last years agreement. A motion was made by Supervisor Wilson to approve the EMS contract through Twin Lakes and Randall for the 2026-2027 years and seconded by Chairmen Butler. Motion passed. Lily Lake Fish Stocking Discussion Continuation – Due to more information being needed this issue was tabled until next meeting. Koch Park – revisit fees due to different information – discussion continued with New Munster park, the pavilion and the food stand. Suggestion was given to take a deposit for all at $100.00 each and Koch Park at $50. The clerk brought up if we are going to allow alcohol with the rental. Other questions were asked about insurance issues regarding that. Clerk to send an email to the town attorney to clarify questions before approval. Page 2 of 3 Approval of Water Patrol contract – Motion made by Chairmen Butler to approve the Water Patrol contract as given by Kenosha County and seconded by Supervisor Wilson. Motion passed. Approval of Animal control contract - Motion made by Supervisor Wilson to approve the Water Patrol contract as given by Kenosha County and seconded by Chairmen Butler. Motion passed. Ordinance for Fireworks follow up – Motion made by Supervisor Wilson to approve the new fireworks ordinance as read and seconded by Chairmen Butler. Motion passed. Committee for Wheatland Goals set up – The committee for the goals of Wheatland will be set up next meeting by members of the board. This discussion is an ongoing conversation and is tabled until next meeting. Roads report – at this time Kenosha county is working on the quotes for the roads that were stated last meeting to be repaired. Chairman Butler asked about mowing Oakwood Shores in the horseshoe. Clerk to put in work order for this to be escalated. Treasurer states that the reconciliations are still being worked on with Sheila Siegler. They are making headway but not complete yet. She also has training to complete for the treasurers institute and would like approval. Clerk – The new computer for the Treasurer’s computer is up and running. Our new phone system is moving forward with Verizon. Our representative came out and went over set up both with the Town Hall and the Fire House. Our account has also been set up with them online. Thawley home is making great strides. They have made significant improvements and pictures have been sent for details. Clerk mentions that she is going on vacation June 28, 2025 through July 4, 2025 Our next document shredding day will be October 11, 2025 from 9AM to 11AM located between the fire department and the transfer station. Lily Lake Board of Commissioners to meet June 30, 2025. Supervisor Wilson stated that she will reach out to Mike Adams to verify the date and time. Other Financial Matters – Front counter computer is too old for updates a new one is needed. Our IT personnel said that we can get the same one the treasurer just received for $699.00. A motion was made by Chairmen Butler and seconded by Supervisor Wilson to approve the purchase of a new counter computer for the Town Hall at $699.00. Motion passed. Page 3 of 3 Fire Department Invoice for Training officer from Fire-Rescue Supply LLC for $2010.00 Motion made by Supervisor Wilson to approve the invoice for the Fire Department at $2010.00 and seconded by Chairmen Butler. Motion passed. Motion was made by Supervisor Wilson to adjourn the Town Hall meeting and seconded by Chairmen Butler. Motion passed.
