Monday, May 12th, 2025 – 6:00 P.M.
Solar field update given by clerk, Katie. At this time the outpost by Pats is not giving us utility tax aide and it
should be. Information has not been received by the WE-Energies and the DOR regarding this issue. Katie to
follow up. A meeting took place Thursday May 8th with the DOR, WE-Energies and Paris regarding the solar
farm information. We have a liaison with Ali that we are to get contact information and work with through WE
Energies. Our farm started the build in November 2023, we “Powered Up” in May of 2024 and should be going
live May of 2025 to see utility tax aide sometime around the 3rd quarter on our tax roll. UT-149 was found and
given to Paris and Associated Appraisal for comparison. Then this will be taken off of our tax roll. Numbers are
unknown but we have confirmation that the energy has been sold to WE Energies. At this time, we are not
worried about the battery storage. These are two separate items. The battery storage will be the first stand-
alone facility.

Phone system, 3 companies are being evaluated to consolidate how to put all of these services together. We
also need phone and internet together. Meetings were had with Verizon and Charter Communications
(Spectrum). Current issues have been identified and put into a list to be addressed with the new systems. At
this time, costs are unknown with exact numbers. Jason will be involved in making decisions. All of the new
plans include new phones. This will be addressed at the next meeting with more information.
Clerk going mobile, Jason found an error regarding our system upgrade with Windows 11. He is checking into
and will be fixing it soon.
The existing TV is put on a rolling table. This poses a safety hazard, it’s cumbersome and it’s not easily
moveable or assessable. Mounting the TV on the wall to project the agenda and to be interactive would solve
this problem. The clerk will be able to interact with it. The mount is about $50 to $80. Mounting is to be on the
wall where the Judges office is. The plaque and the clock will be moved. Katie’s husband will do the work.
Jason will follow up on any other electronic issues found. Letting the public use the TV is not an option at this
