2024 Recreation Board Minutes 10-21

T own of Wheatland Recreation Board Minutes for October 21st, 2024 Meeting Meeting called to order by Jeff Niederer @ 5:14pm. Board members, , Brett Butler, Andrew Lois and Steve Peters were also present. Also in attendance was Kelly Wilson. No public comments. Minutes from May 13th, 2024 meeting were reviewed with a motion to accept by Steve Peters, second by Andrew Lois. None opposed. New Munster Park : Motion to move all four sets of bleachers after concrete expanded by Brett Butler, seconded by Steve Peters, none opposed. Andrew Lois will fertilize in early Spring. Motion to add more rubber mulch not to exceed $1,000 to NM play areas in 2025 by Steve Peters, second Andrew Lois. None opposed. Regarding Lily Lake beach, historical water level charts were posted. A motion was made by Brett Butler, second Steve Peters to contribute $200 to the Shoreline Garden Scout Project-Eli Potempa. None opposed. Final design will be submitted for board approval. Regarding Koch Park Andrew will mow down the small trees and fertilize in 2025. Motion by Steve Peters, second by Andrew Lois to request $50,000 budget from Town Board for 2025. None opposed.
