2024 11-25 Town board minutes

November 25th , 2024 WHEATLAND TOWN BOARD MEETING Meeting was called to order at 6 p.m. by Chairman Butler. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited and roll call taken with Chairman Brett Butler, Supervisors Kelly Wilson present and Kyle Madsen excused Also present Donna Deuster, Clerk, Chief Denko Clerk Deuster stated minutes were posted in 3 public places, posted on the website and emailed to the subscription list. Supervisor Wilson made a motion to approve the minutes of the 11/11/24, meeting, 2nd by Chairman Butler. Motion carried. No Public comments Chief Denko shared the service time and plans for the past chief Alan Kaddatz He also reported on a meeting with the company interested in a battery storage area. Overall safety precautions were in place adding an access to the site and remote service to monitor and any issues happening. Basically it is an isolation of the problem and keep surrounding areas temperature controlled. If there is an issue it may take 24 hours of to be fully contained.(burned off) Supervisor Wilson reported that the person she asked to inspect the tree at 7205 314th felt he wasn’t sufficiently qualified and she was going to contact a second person. Finance request to move forward with the pad for the bleachers so them can be moved to the side of the Baseball field. No other business the motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Chairman Butler, seconded by Supervisor Wilson. Motion carried at 6:36 am.
