TOWN OF BARABOO MINUTES of the Regular Town Board Meeting AUGUST 26, 2026 Call Meeting to Order: Meeting was called to order by Chair, Bill Klemm at 3:30PM. Clerk Jennifer Roloff verified compliance with Wisconsin’s open meetings laws. Reference Wis. Stat. § 19.84. Roll Call: Roll call of the town’s elected officials taken. Present were: Chair, Bill Klemm; Supervisors: Randy Puttkamer, Mike Terry, Bill Steinhorst, & Treasurer, Mary Farrell-Stieve. Absent: Steven Hess Approve Agenda: Motion (Terry/Steinhorst) to adopt meeting agenda with moving #5 to above #4 . All in Favor. Motion carried. E11665 Cooper Court Utility Connection with Road Impact : Motion (Terry/Puttkamer) to allow road disruption to connect to Sewer, with road repair being done when driveway is paved (spring of 2027) and paid for by owner. Motion Carried. Citizens’ appearance: any person wishing to speak about a subject that is not on this agenda may make a short presentation to the town board. Resolution 2026 -17 Landowner Impact Information Request Resolution Regarding the BECI 765 kV Transmission: Motion (Puttkamer/Steinhorst) to approve Resolution 2016 -17 Landowner Impact Information Request Resolution Regarding the BECI 765 kV Transmission. All in Favor. Motion Carried. Resolution 2026-18 Opposing BECI 765 kV Transmission Line: Motion (Puttkamer/Terry) to approve Resolution 2016-18 Opposing BECI 765 BECI 765 kV Transmission Line Motion (Terry/Puttkamer) to adjourn meeting at 4:15 PM.
