SPECIAL MEETING OF THE VILLAGE BOARD OF THE VILLAGE OF LAKE DELTON October 31, 2023 Upon giving proper notice pursuant to Section 19.84 Wis. Stats., and certifying compliance with the open meetings law, a Special Meeting of the Village of Lake Delton was called to order on Monday, October 31, 2023, at 1:30 P.M. in the Kay C. Mackesey Administration Building. Present were President John Webb, Trustees Tom Diehl, Leslie Bremer, Merije Ajvazi, Bernadette Skwor, Cary Brandt, and Joe Eck. Also in attendance were Richard Cross, Village Attorney, Atty. Ben LeTendre and Daniel Hardman, Police Chief. A motion was made by Skwor, seconded by Ajvazi, to adopt the meeting agenda. Motion carried. A motion was made by Bremer, seconded by Skwor, to enter into closed session pursuant to Section 19.85 (1) (g) Conferring with legal counsel for the governmental body who is rendering oral or written advice concerning strategy to be adopted by the body with respect to litigation in which it is or is likely to become involved. Motion carried unanimously. A motion was made by Brandt, seconded by Ajvazi, to reconvene in open session pursuant to Section 19.85 (2) to take whatever action deemed appropriate, as a result, of the closed session. Action taken by the board was related to legal strategy and not publicly announced. There were no other matters considered. A motion to adjourn by Brandt, seconded by Skwor. Motion carried.
