Park Committee Meeting — Minutes

TOWN OF CALEDONIA – WAUPACA COUNTY Park Committee Meeting Aug 19, 2026 Bill Abba called the meeting to order via Zoom at 4:30 pm. Old Business ● DNR(Jessica Terrien) will visit the park on Sept 11 to give final approval of the project ● Gruetzmacher Family event at the park on Aug 29-30 Action Items: ● Approved minutes of June 2026 meeting Reports: ● Abba updated the Park Committee on ○ Everything is on track for September 1 opening ○ Completion of the punch list for the pavilion ○ Sign is ordered for building and will be installed in fall ○ Invasive species update ○ Updates on all of the completed projects. ○ Wohlt grant will be submitted once fall cycle opens ○ We’ll watch for DOA grant and apply if it opens again this year ○ Grand opening ceremony May 2027 ○ Finishing touches happening
