TOWN OF CALEDONIA – WAUPACA COUNTY Park Committee Meeting Minutes July 15, 2026 Meeting called to order 4:30. Bill, Helen, Natalie, Brad, Alex, Allen, and Charlie in attendance Old Business ● Recap hunting information. ● ● Meeting plans 2026 and 2027 Action Items: ● Approve minutes of June 2026 meeting ● Approve motion prohibiting hunting and trapping in Gruetzmacher Park. Town Board will have final approval. Signs will be updated accordingly to reflect new hunting information. ● Meetings will move to quarterly starting in January 2027. Personnel may change at that time as well. Reports: ● Gruetzmacher Park ○ Septic and propane need to get done ASAP. ○ Comprehensive update about all of the project - this is a very busy time. ○ FCB will not donate sign above door. Next step? ○ No delivery date for top part of main park sign at road ○ Garbage/recycling/bike racks need to be ordered ○ Comprehensive update about all of the project statuses ○ Discussion about what type of seating goes in the portico - must be all weather seating. ○ Opening: still set for fall. Grand opening next spring. Recruit volunteers for that. Lions Club may be interested in helping? ○ Grants: Wohlt submission in the fall for pavilion landscaping, Wolf River Bank, 2027 DOA ● Adjourn 5:45 ● Next meeting - Wednesday August 19, 2026, 4:30
