Town of Caledonia Special Town Board Meeting Minutes April 22, 2026 In attendance: Chairperson Abba, Supervisor Bosquez, Supervisor Knuth, Clerk|Treasurer Snyder Chairperson Abba called the meeting to order at 1 pm Action Items: ● Motion to accept the pricing adjustments for the Building Permit pricing as suggested by the Building Inspector with pricing changes effective May 1, 2026. Motion carried 3-0. ● Motion to accept change the Refundable Escrow for new home building permits from $500 to $300 effective May 1, 2026. Motion carried 3-0. ● Motion to move up to $50,000 from the road budget for the Dale Fire and Rescue EMS truck. Motion carried 3-0. ● Motion to delay Weiland Rd construction to 2027 so road budget can be used for Kanaman Rd bridge. Motion carried 3-0. ● Motion to approve Resolution 2026-04-01: A Resolution Supporting A Comprehensive And Sustainable Transportation Funding Solution. Motion carried 3-0. ● Chairperson Abba explained the maintenance position plan. ● Discuss annual elector’s meeting topics that were brought up: o Speed signs on Cut-Off. The Town will pursue getting 45 mph speed limit signs on the Caledonia section. o Railroad quiet zones: The Town Board made a motion to approve the Planning Commission to look into railroad quiet zones. 3-0.
