TOWN OF CALEDONIA – WAUPACA COUNTY Park Committee Meeting January 21, 2025 4:30pm NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Caledonia Park Committee will conduct a meeting via Zoom. These meetings of the Town Board are open to the public. Proper notice has been posted with the time, place, and agenda of the meeting. Call meeting to order and pledge of allegiance No Public Forum will be offered at the beginning of this meeting Agenda Action Items: ● Set 2026 meeting plan - format change, meeting plan ● Approve minutes of December 2025 meeting ● Discuss 2026 Federal Recreation Trails Program application, requirements, and impact to park timeline. Motion to approve 2026 Federal Recreation Trails Program application - Town Board endorsed ● Approve Wohlt Grant submission - Town Board endorsed ● Approve closing Gruetzmacher Park from February- August to visitors during the construction process ● Approve 2027 Readfield Park rental/pricing recommendation - send to Town Board for approval ● Discuss 2027 Gruetzmacher Park rental/pricing recommendation. No further action at this time ● Discuss maintenance plans ● Endorse the proposed hunting rules for Gruetzmacher Park ● Approve final park rules as proposed ● Approve geocache placement in Gruetzmacher Park in September 2026 ● Approve the Town of Caledonia GoFundMe page for Gruetzmacher Park Reports: ● Gruetzmacher Park Pavilion/flatwork update Site prep update Park rules Hunting Plan Maintenance plans Project budget update Grant update Project Timeline Gate installation Pipeline easement clearing Pond planting proposal Discussion - any topic a park committee member wants to discuss.
