Special Town Board Meeting — Minutes

Town of Caledonia Special Meeting Minutes November 11, 2025 Meeting called to order at 1 pm. In attendance: Bill Abba, Pete Bosquez, Vance Knuth, Natalie Snyder. The Town Board discussed switching from Nationwide to Social Security and the addition of the Wisconsin Retirement System/Wisconsin Department of Employee Trust Funds benefit to provide a competitive benefit that would help the municipality retain and attract qualified employees. Motion to switch to Social Security and discontinue the FICA alternative/replacement Nationwide account carried 3-0. Motion to approve the Resolution of Inclusion Under the Wisconsin Retirement System (Wisconsin Department of Employee Trust Funds or “ETF”). Motion carried 3-0. Motion to designate the Town Clerk/Treasurer as the Agent to represent the Town of Caledonia for all matters related to ETF-administered benefit programs and the Deputy Town Clerk/Treasurer as the alternate agent.
