Town of Caledonia Park Committee Meeting Minutes November 5, 2025 Bill Abba called the meeting to order at 4:30 pm. Abba provide updates on: 1.) Pagel Pier Updates Paving done Picnic tables, site clean up Spring 2026 Asphalt striping - Aug 2026 2.) Readfield Park Update Request for lawn care bids completed, Fischers selected 3.) Park Rules Update Finalize signage language - Feb 2026 with Park Comm and DNR input Print/Install signage - Mar - July 2026 4.) Zoning Permits - Gruetzmacher Park Switching from two to one parcel - done Land Use permit application - done Sanitary permit application from State and County - done State acceptance of pavilion design - done 5.) Playground Bid Plan Waiting for timing and design on pavilion to be set Expect to go out for bids before year end Targeting installation when pavilion and concrete border are complete Funding is set 6.) Pavilion Design/Bid Update Bid selected from Fox Cities Builders, $1.2 million Expecting a March 1, 2026, construction start Final design not adjusted will stick interior walls Portico enclosed 7.) Maintenance Plans Beginning to look at lawn care maintenance and cleaning options Plan to review this over the winter and select the approach we want 8.) Gruetzmacher Park Construction Update Wis Corp projects completed - trails, outdoor furniture, pump track, drainage, maintenance garage support Maintenance garage 75% complete; electrical and interior underway, power hooked up Prairie Grass purchased and received Pavilion grade nearly complete Court grade nearly complete Pond /sledding hill under construction Site grading underway Trail construction underway Meartz Gate 9.)
