Abba
called
the
Town
Board
meeting
to
order
at
6
pm.
Public Forum: ● No Input ● Supervisor Bosquez said he looked further into a Public Forum question from last month about tornado
sirens.
The
town
does
not
have
an
office
staffed
24-hours
a
day,
so
a
tornado
siren
isn’t
an
option.
Code
Red
at
the
Waupaca
County

to
emergencies,
so
sign
up
for
that.

location
TBD.
● Fremont Ambulance: There will be a change of management, but no change to service. ● New flags were purchased to be hung along Hwy 96. They’re up from before Memorial Day until after
Labor

The

should
last
a
few

● Parks: Pagel Pier is almost complete: rule sign is up, the park sign is ordered, and picnic tables will be
moved
there.
The
park
committee
is
moving

the
park
implementation
of
Gruetzmacher
Park.
● Broadband: Waupaca Online is upgrading the speed of their jumper towers. If the Brightspeed grant is
approved,
every

Caledonia
should
have
high
speed
internet
by
the
end
of
2026.
There
is
a
gag
order
on
the
grant,
so
we
don’t
know
where
in
the
process
it
is
or
what
our
chances
are.
● Waste wood disposal - complete. We will continue to have it ground up moving forwards instead of
burning
it.
● Public Nuisance update: ordinances are in place so the county can enforce dog nuisance calls. ● Speed limit sign. Currently the town has 2 electronic speed limit signs that move to multiple spots.
Residents
on

requested
signs

Due
to
the

of
new

battery
packs,
no
additional

will
be
purchased
at
this
time.
● Open Book and Board of Review are complete. One resident attended Open Book and 0 residents
came
to
Board
of
Review.
● Abba talked about Dale Fire Department’s capital plan. ● The Town expected the Hwy W rebuild to happen after ANR Pipeline project was completed; however,
new
information
shows
that
Hwy
W
may
be
rebuilt
while
ANR
is
in
town.
The

be
holding
a
meeting
to
discuss
concerns
and
timelines.
