2023 Ambulance Service Provider: Service proposals from Rio and Pardeeville were reviewed.
Crary commented the relationship with Rio Ambulance Service and the village has been very good.

to the cost of service increase proposed by Rio for 2023, and the lack of a 90 day minimum notice of
the increase. Chief Butterbaugh stated if notice of the increase was received in less than 90 days, as
stated in the agreement, he would be willing to present that information to the Rio Fire Association at
their meeting on October 26, 2022 and recommend leaving the cost of service in 2023 the same as
2022. Butterbaugh invited Wyocena Village Board members to the Rio Association meeting. Bauer
stated he would attend on the 26th. Motion by Crary, second by Schiradelly, to budget the cost of the
higher proposed amount for 2023 ambulance service; which may be adjusted during the budget
hearing and Village Board meeting on November 14, 2022. The agreement for 2023 ambulance
service will be decided upon at the November 14th meeting. M.C.
