Veterans Service Commission Meeting March 31, 2023 West Entrance, 1st Floor, Taylor County Courthouse Call Veteran Service Commission Meeting to Order: Chairman Rev. Warren Behling called the Commission meeting to order at 8:30 AM. Members Present: Rev. Warren Behling, Barry Anderson Members Absent: Arnold Sova Other Attendees: Benefits Specialist Nikki Sherman Approve Minutes. A motion was made by Anderson, seconded by Behling, to approve October 4, minutes. A unanimous vote was cast, and the motion carried. Approve Agenda. A motion was made by Anderson, seconded by Behling, to approve the agenda with 7 items. A unanimous vote was cast, and the motion carried. Closed Session. A motion was made by Anderson, seconded by Behling, at 8:52 a.m. into closed session pursuant to Section 19.85 (1)(c), for purpose of discussing specifics of the veteran’s financial situation. A unanimous vote was cast, and the motion carried. Open Session. A motion was made by Anderson, seconded by Behling, to go into an open session at 8:57 a.m. A unanimous was cast, and the motion carried. It was decided at this time the Veteran Service Commission would be able to assist the Veteran. Set next meeting date: The next Veteran Service Commission meeting will be announced as needed.
