No action will be taken on any of the topics discussed: Paula Dubiak provided an update to the Committee regarding the latest ADRC meetin g. Currently it is still advantageous for Taylor County to partner with Forest County (A DRC of the Northwoods). Ms. Stanfley indicated that if the partnership between Taylor and Forest County dissolves the County would essentially have three options per the GWARR Executive Director; 1. ADRC become a local nonprofit entity (like Brown County) 2. Commission on Aging integrated with the AD RC 3. Or ADRC and Commission on Aging integrate and go under the Human Services umbrella. Ms. Stanfley also indicated that if Elderly Benefits Specialist was under a county department the position could drawdown on Medicaid dollars by doing 100% time repor ting for Medicaid activities. Ms. Stanfley will document her conv ersation with GWARR and email to appropriate members per the request of Lynn Rosemeyer. Questions were asked and discussion was had. Establish an IDIP (Intoxicated Driver Intervention Prog ram) Committee: Ms. Stanfley requested approval to establish an IDIP committee to become compliant with DHS 62. The NIMC consortium would cover any overhead costs and would pay for wages and benefits. Human Serv ices is currently at a maximum authorized positions (40 positions). Increasing the number of authorized positions would be to be approved by the Finance and Personnel Committee and the County Boar d. Scott Mildbrand supported the idea, but did mentioned tha t if the funding through the consortium would end so would th is p osition. Michael Bub had concerns of filling vacancies in that unit and then having those hired employees leave for other Human Services or County positions . Lynn Rosemeyer, Michael Bub and Lisa Carbaugh agreed to pass on this new position mentioned, as of now. Unit Restructure was discussed in a meeting last week pertaining to Ms. Ketelhut’s retirement. It was discussed to make CCS its own unit. CCS, CST, and CCOP units wer e broken up to see the number of hours worked on each unit weekly. Results came to 20 hours a week, which is not enough for a full -time position. It was then d ecided it is not able to happen, ended discussion. Looking into the Clinical Unit it was determi ned to split the AODA, Mental Health Clinic apart from Cri sis/APS and all legal services. Ms. Stanfley will be updating the Clinical Lead job description to include a supervisory role. Updated job description will be added to the November Board Meeting for approval. Jen Meyer, Clinical Services Coordinator, provided us with an update on the Clinical Unit stating this time of year is very challenging with behavioral health needs and struggling to admit people in need into facilities because of high volumes . Facilities are turning referrals away d ue to staff shortage; facilities are working with us to find other placements. New caseworker was introduced as Melanie Sperl. Ms. Ketelhut di scussed her job position being open, the position is curre ntly on the Taylor County website and will go out into the newspapers. Ms. Ketelhut stated there is currently 22 people on the CLTS waitlist, staff was able to enroll four but are continuing to add more. 16 of the 22 are not receiving any services and staf f are actively working to enroll six . Due to high volume of needs the waitlist remains as a steady high number. CCS has hired one an d the second position is still in proc ess and under discussion. Cheryl’s job description will be updated to be made more accurate due to various responsibilities. Lynn Rosemeyer provided an update regarding a resolution she is working on regarding the hiring process.
