TAYLOR COUNTY LIBRARY BOARD MINUTES OF MEETING HELD OCTOBER 10, 2022 Members Present: Catherine Lemke, Dan MIller, Karen Rusch, May Lou Czerniak, Marsha Duellman & Candice Grunseth Members Absent: Joe Greget Directors Present: Maxx Handel, Carla Huston, Tammie Blomberg, Melissa Highfill & Rita Ludvigsen Approval of Minutes: Reading of the Minutes from April 30, 2018 was waived. Approval of Agenda: Dan made a motion to approve the agenda of 11 items, second b y Karen. Motion carried. Note: Only Committee members can make motions. Public Input: None Correspondence: None Committee Reports: None New Business: Discussed annual report numbers, Will use the same numbers as last year. Catherine will take to the full county board. Discussed updating the by -laws to meet twice a year in April and August. Open Discussion of Library Related Issues: Discussion on gett ing more funding for the libraries. Catherine to talk with the Health Department for training on the AED’s. Discussed the Librarians getting together and having quarterly meetings. Next Meeting Ideas: Discuss DPI report and budgeting for next year. Have someone come from WVLS to discuss more of the Connectivity Project and things happening at WVLS.
