Public Input: None Review 2nd Quarter Nutrition Reports: Viergutz reported that over 35,000 meals were served by congregate, carry out and home delivered meals in the last 12 months. All sites had reopened July 5, 2021. Most sites seeing a significant decrease in numbers due to Covid and death of participants. Fleming reported for Jump River stating about 10 -12 participants and serves two days a week. The site focuses on socialization, food and family atmosphere. Everyone is a volunteer and helps out when it comes to serving and cleaning up. Noted that they truly value the cook Diane who cooks their meals onsite. Peterson reporting for Westboro stated they also serve twice a week, socialization and caring atmosphere. Everyone looks out for each other or if someone needs a ride. Also a large number of volunteers at the site who help clean up and serve. Would like to see their numbers grow Hrdina reporting for Goodrich reported that prior to Covid the numbers in attendance was about 20 and now down to about 10 and they only serve on Wednesday. Everyone at the site volunteers and a big sense of community among them. Site managers are in their 80s and they want to help them as much as they can. Once a month they play bingo after the meal. Group tends to look at the meals and if they do not like what happens to fall on their day, attendance maybe low or they may not hold the meal as a rule there needs to be a minimum of five participants. Would be nice to have some flexibility in the menu. Kremsreiter reported for Stetsonville, currently participation is a t its lowest as Jean their cook is out with a broken wrist. Currently food is being brought in by Lynn’s catering and their normal participants are waiting for her to resume cooking. Again, someplace for everyone to come and socialize, find out what’s going on. A small group gets together to play cards before the meal. Graffunder reported for Medford, averaging about 10 people daily. Most play cards before the meal and play bingo after the meal on Mondays and Fridays.
