Town of Spooner WASHBURN COUNTY – WISCONSIN May 14, 2024 following electors meeting Spooner Town Hall N6124 Blooming Vale Road, Spooner MINUTES REGULAR BOARD MEETING Call to Order: Meeting was called to order by Chairman Frankiewicz. Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Members present: Chairman Gary Frankiewicz, Supervisor Jon Johnson, Supervisor Miles Macone, Treasurer Joan Avery, Clerk Leslie Arf. Others present: Minutes of March Regular Meeting: Motion by Supervisor Macone to approve amened March 2024 minutes seconded by Supervisor Johnson. Motion was carried unanimously. *Amended to add Acceptance of LRIP funds to go to Ojibwa Rd project* Treasurer’s Report. Treasurer Joan Avery gave Financial Report. Reimbursement from DNR grant was received. ARPA total left is $41779.23. Must designate funds and have signed contract by 12/31/24. Correspondence: Public Comment: Old Business NONE New Business: Gary will reach out to the City re: brush dumping area that is now locked up Board of Review 06/13/24 at 12-2 pm Open Book 06/20/24 5:30 to 7:30 pm Updated Budget was done to show details through April 2024 Highway Update and Expenditures: Potholes have been repaired Ojibwa Road has been finished except for the gravel shoulder, should be done this week. We will seek bids for Mann Road to be presented at the next meeting. Payment of Bills: Motion by Macone to approve the payment of bills Second by Johnson motion carried unanimously. Next Regular Board Meeting Date: Tuesday June 11h 2024 6pm Electors Meeting, Regular meeting to follow. Adjourn: Motion by Supervisor Johnson, seconded by Supervisor Macone.
