to the Village Board. Passed
B. Fund 22 Preliminary Budget Discussion
Director Dobson presented the Board with the 2027 preliminary Fund 22 budget. Dobson said the they are
moving 50% of the Parks, Recreation & Forestry Directors salary and benefits to the general fund budget.
Dobson said that this is necessary because Dobson spends a considerable amount of his time focusing on
Parks as well as recreation. Dobson stated that moving a portion of his salary will allow them more flexibility
in the fund 22 budget. Dobson also said that moving these expenses to the general fund has allowed the
fund 22 tax levy to drop 14.76%. Dobson also said they will have to make some changes to the presented
budget if we do move forward with the lease agreement with the Tap Yard. Dobson said the lease
agreement will include a $3,000 per month lease payment for the months of May through September.
Dobson informed the Board that our department would continue to operate the concession stands at both
Breuer Park and Rueckl Fields.
