Utility Committee - April 21, 2026 City of Oconomowoc Utility Committee Meeting Minutes April 21, 2026 - 7:20 PM Aldermen Present: Jennifer Aultman Kloth, Erik Jungwirth Also Present: Mark Frye, Kevin Kaari, Scott Osborn, Neal Slomczewski, Tim Reel, Steve Hatton, Jason Gallo, Robert Duffy, Eric Boettcher, Jim Pfister, Karen Spiegelberg, Charles Schellpeper, Rusty McConnell, Matt Rosek, Kevin Ellis, Tina Wallace Chairman Aultman Kloth called the Utility Committee Meeting to order and appropriate meeting notice was confirmed at 7:01 PM. Approve Minutes a. Minutes of March 17, 2026 Motion to approve the minutes of March 17, 2026 made by Jungwirth and seconded by Aultman Kloth. Motion carried 2-0-0. Committee Business a. Discussion Regarding the Wastewater Utility Upgrade Project Reel gave a brief update on the Wastewater Utility upgrade project process. He stated the Facility Planning document is still in the review and approval process with the WDNR. The plan did not provide the level of detail needed to go into preliminary design. He is proposing to go into preliminary design first. This will help clearly define the project limits, identify alternatives with equipment and a better scope to go into design. Reel highlighted two specific evaluations: review the facilities capacity and the feasibility to transition to a Class A biosolids product. The goal is to have a much clearer scope for the whole design effort, and this will make a successful construction project. b. Consider/recommend Resolution 26-R3349 to Replace Lily Road Lift Station Control Panel Reel stated the current electrical control panel was repurposed from another site and needs to be replaced. Motion to recommend Resolution 26-R3349 to replace Lily Rd Lift Station Control Panel made by Jungwirth and seconded by Aultman Kloth. Motion carried 2-0-0. Review Committee Reports No comments by the Committee. a. Utility Billing Report - March 2026 b. Electric Utility Report - April 2026 c. Water Report - April 2026 d.
