Call to Order The meeting was called to order at 6:01 PM. 2. Pledge of Allegiance The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. 3. Roll Call Members Present: Ald. Stephen Laughland, Mark Schaefer, Sherrie Flemming, Louise Crowley Members Absent: Andrew Hillmann, Dan Cahalane, Leslie Donavan, City Forester Sean Heinzel Also Present: Administrative and Billing Clerk Catie Carnick 4. Unfinished Business Discussion and possible action on the following items: A. Review of bid results for 2026 Oakwood Park Tree Planting Project and possible recommendation to the Common Council. Discussion: Concerns were raised regarding the quality of trees proposed by Property Solutions Contracting due to the comparatively low bid amount. Mark Schaefer stated he consulted with Sean Heinzel, who indicated there were no concerns regarding tree quality. Sherrie Fleming asked whether the recommendation would proceed to the Common Council and if any revisions were necessary prior to submission. The Board agreed to forward the recommendation to the Common Council without modification. Motion made by Mark Schaefer, seconded by Ald. Stephen Laughland, to recommend that the Common Council award the 2026 Oakwood Tree Planting Project contract to Property Solutions Contracting in the amount of $25,950.00. All in favor.
