Discussion and possible action on the following items:
A. Review Proposed Signage for St. John’s Park Public Pier
Schaefer said he spoke with the Police Chief about the signage wording since it is not in the
municipal code and the Police Chief did not have a problem with the signage being posted
and used as a guideline. Schaefer said it is a good starting point
Motion by Dan Cahalane, seconded by Mark Schaefer, to approve the signage as presented
to be posted at the St. John’s Park Public Pier.
All in favor. Motion carried.
B. Pickleball Striping on Bostrom Park Tennis Court
Schaefer said he will contact the homeowner that is closest to the tennis court at Bostrom
Park to see if they have any issues with pickleball being played on the tennis court.
C. Update on St. John’s Public Pier and Kayak Launch
Schaefer said the bids are in for the public pier, Common Council approved one of the bids,
and the pier is due to be installed in June. Schaefer said the pier will need to be in place
before a place will be chosen for the kayak launch.
8. New Business
Discussion and possible action on the following items:
A. Delafield Arts Foundation Fee Waiver Request for 2026 Liberty Park Live Concert
Series
The Delafield Arts Foundation is scheduling concerts for the summer concert series. The
rental fees for the park and stage apply but since the Delafield Arts Foundation is doing the
work and raising the money to make the summer concert series possible, a fee waiver would
be justified.
Motion by Mark Schaefer, seconded by Sherrie Flemming, to waive the park and stage
rental fees for the Delafield Arts Foundation for the June, July, and August concert series.

it would be something to address in the next Park Walk. Hillmann also noticed the new guardrail
for the old slide at Fireman's Park has not been installed yet. Schaefer said he will contact DPW
about these issues.
Schaefer said the Gulf Wars Memorial has been delivered to Halquist Stone by DPW.
Flemming said the Fish Hatchery Sports Complex ice rink was very busy this year and the
soccer field is getting lots of activity.
