Call to Order Meeting was called to order by Mary Daniel at 9:31am. 2. Pledge of Allegiance Pledge of Allegiance was recited 3. Roll Call Present: Mary Daniel, Teresa Spencer, Mark Schaefer, Melanie Thorne, Susie Austin, Maya Deleon 4. Citizens Comments No citizens were present 5. Consent Agenda: Minutes Approval Discussion and possible action to review and approve Minutes from the March 19, 2025, Outdoor Art Committee Meeting minutes taken by Jori Hartwig. Motion made by Mary Daniel, seconded by Mark Schaefer to approve consent agenda. All in favor; Motion carried. 6. Review of updated organizing documents Discussion and possible action on draft organizing documents: A. Bylaws B. Art Installation Plan C. Selection Criteria Motion made by Mark Schaefer, seconded by Melanie Thorne to approve updates to organizing documents. All in favor; Motion carried. 7. Old Business Discussion and possible action regarding: A. Update on due diligence for Milwaukee Street mural (ownership, permitting, traffic, and legal considerations) . B. Review of artist brief for proposed outdoor art project Mary Daniel provided an update on the ownership of the site for a potential mural on Milwaukee Street. More research is required. The group reviewed and provided input into artist brief for proposed outdoor art project. 8. New Business Discussion and possible action regarding: A. Next steps for issuing the brief to prospective artist The group agreed that Teresa Spencer take the lead in sharing with the artist brief with potential participants through various call-for-entry platforms. Motion made by Mark Schaefer, seconded by Melanie Thorne to share brief. 9. Next Delafield Outdoor Arts Meeting: June 11, 2026 A. Check for quorum before adjournment 11. Adjournment Time: 10:25am All meetings of the Delafield Promotion & Tourism Commission meeting are public meetings. The meeting of the Commission is a working session for the Commission itself, and, outside the Citizens Comments section, discussion by those in attendance is limited to Commission members, staff and others that may be a party to the matter being discussed.
