Council Organizational Matters Election of Common Council President to a 1-year term. Motion by Valde, seconded by Laughland, to elect Ald. Dirk Wilken as the Common Council President to a 1-year term. All in favor. Motion carried. Mayor’s Appointments City Staff and Contracted Representatives Motion by Henry, seconded by Wilken, to retain city staff and contracted representatives in items 5.B.i.A-G. All in favor. Motion carried. A. City Attorney I. Kathy Sawyer-Gutenkunst, Axley Brynelson, LLP B. City Engineer I. Robbie Malzahn, Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. C. Building/HVAC/Electrical/Plumbing Inspector I. Scott Hussinger D. City Assessor I. Accurate Appraisal, LLC E. City Clerk I. Molly Schneider F. Emergency Government Director I. Matt Fennig, Lake Country Fire and Rescue G. City Treasurer I. Amy Buchman Committees, Commissions, & Boards Mayor Aicher indicated that Deb Smith was incorrectly listed as the Promotion and Tourism Commission Executive Director. Jori Hartwig is the current Executive Director, but this is not a Mayoral appointed position. Aicher summarized the new appointments. Motion by Henry, seconded by Valde, to approve the Mayoral appointments, as presented, with the correction to the Promotion and Tourism Commission Executive Director position. All in favor. Motion carried. Resolution No. 2026-05: Resolution Designating Public Depositories and Authorizing Withdrawal of City of Delafield Monies. Motion by Henry, seconded by Wilken, to approve Resolution No. 2026-05: Resolution Designating Public Depositories and Authorizing Withdrawal of City of Delafield Monies. All in favor. Motion Carried. Resolution No. 2026-06: Resolution Designating the Official Newspaper for the City of Delafield.
