particular praising Hines’ presentation at the conference, and thanked everyone else who was
able attend and present. Deputy Clerk Johnson expressed thanks to the poll workers who were
able to help as Special Voting Deputies, which went out to two local care facilities to conduct

Alderperson Crowe reported that he was informed by a couple residents of the Wilson Estate
Mobile Home Park that they had formed a co-op to try and buy the park before it was sold to a
private LLC out of state, and now it sounds as if things will be changing with increased rent and
fees for garbage services. He noted the opportunity for education on the new ordinance passed
related to rentals on the complaint-based inspection process and rent abatement system, and
suggested that future consideration should be given to limit LLCs in how they can buy housing
stock in the city to keep housing affordable. Public Works Director Schofield reminded folks of
the additional meetings happening in April with both current and new City Councils.
Alderperson Schlough commented that the snow is almost gone so, please pick up the trash and
asked if utility companies were required to remove marking flags. Public Works Director
Schofield indicated that utility companies are not required to remove the flags, and that once
