CITY OF MENOMONIE POLICE AND FIRE COMMISSION Meeting Minutes of January 21, 2026 Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 9:00 AM by Acting President Sweeny Roll Call: Commissioners present were Martha Stratton, Robin Sweeny, and Dave Pellett. Also present was Commander Brian Hagen. Commissioners Miller and Sandfort were excused. Approval of minutes from December 22, 2025 meeting. Motion by Stratton to approve; Sweeny seconded. Motion carried. Public Comments related to Agenda: There were no comments. Old Business: None New Business: Commander Hagen updated the commissioners on staffing Motion made by Stratton and seconded by Pellett to convene in closed session Under Wisconsin Statutes 19.85(1)(c) to consider employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. Motion carried. Motion made by Sweeny and seconded by Stratton to reconvene in open session under Wisconsin Statutes 19.85(2). Motion carried. No action taken in Closed Session.
