1 | P a g e TOWN OF GENESEE 2ND AMENDED SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MINUTES OCTOBER 27, 2025 Chairman Tesch called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. Present were Chairman Tesch, Town Board Supervisors Morris, Braun and Gresser. Also, Present were Administrator Herrmann, Public Works Superintendent Gryzkewicz, and Clerk-Treasurer Majeskie. Supervisor Ross was absent. Attorney Christopher Schultz attended by phone for the closed session. Discussion/Action – Resolution 25-7R Authorizing the issuance and sale of a $480,000.00 General Obligation Promissory Note. Morris made a motion to approve Resolution 25-7R, seconded by Gresser. The motion passed 4-0 Discussion/Action - Replace two wide area mowers with two new zero turn mowers The Board discussed the new quotes. The mowers are not all the same and some of the companies could not offer quotes for the exact mower that we would like to purchase. Morris made a motion to approve the quote from Proven Power for the JD Z997R Diesel 37hp mowers with trade ins from us for $4,702.84, seconded by Braun. The motion passed 4-0. Chairman Tesch read the notice. Herrmann explained that we are going into closed session to discuss a possible compromise with our attorney. Morris made a motion to go into closed session, seconded by Gresser. Roll call vote: Supervisor Morris aye, Supervisor Braun aye, Supervisor Gresser aye and Chairman Tesch aye. The board went into closed session at 5:49 p.m. CLOSED SESSION The Town Board may enter, by roll call vote, into a Closed Session pursuant to State Statute 19.85 (1) (g) conferring with legal counsel for the governmental body who is rendering oral or written advice concerning strategy to be adopted by the body with respect to litigation in which it is or is likely to become involved; Bryan & Theresa Baltz W289S4736 Rockwood Trail Waukesha, WI 53189 (GNT 1538-974) Morris made a motion to go into open session, seconded by Braun. Roll call vote: Supervisor Morris aye, Supervisor Braun aye, Supervisor Gresser aye and Chairman Tesch aye. The board went into open session at 5:52p.m. 2 | P a g e Discussion/Action – Paint and Carpet Quotes for the Genesee Town Hall The Board reviewed the quotes. Morris made a motion to approve Midwest Painting Pros proposal for $14,525.00 and Schmidt Custom Floors for carpet $28,057.62, seconded by Braun. The motion passed 4-0.
