MONDAY, JANUARY 8, 2024 AT 6:30 PM, TOWN HALL, OFFICIAL MINUTES, TOWN OF NECEDAH, WISCONSIN, TOWN BOARD MEETING FINANCIAL MATTERS REVIEW CHECKS FOR PAYMENT: CHECKS APPROVED FOR PAYMENT: Dec Checks # 17325 - 17334 Jan Checks # 17335 - 17368 CALL TO ORDER/ PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Meeting was called to order at 6:32 pm, by Chairman Scott Darnell, after check payment review. ROLL CALL: Those present were: Chairman Scott Darnell, Supervisors George Schumer & Ginny Hodal, Clerk Susan Kosinski, and Constable Jack Jasinski Sr. Treasurer Cheri Barnharst, and Road Supervisor Leo Schultz were absent. Also present was 1 resident, and 1 non-resident (Brian Schauer). ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA: Motion by Hodal to accept agenda as presented, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. PUBLIC COMMENTS*: Discussion of treasurer report. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Motion by Schumer to approve the December 11, 2023 Regular Town Board Meeting, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. APPROVAL OF THE TREASURER’S REPORT: Motion by Hodal to approve the Treasurer’s December 31, 2023 report as presented, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. CHAIRMAN REPORT: Discussion of TDS fiber optic project. ROAD SUPERVISOR REPORT: Brush mowing right a-way, 4 ton of patching, equipment maintained, plowed 3 times, thinking of 200 Sterling truck repair or buy new and new emission for 2026. CONSTABLE REPORT: 4 incidents, mailbox down, garage door fire damaged, tree down, & Bayview cemetery vandalism. APPROVE $500.00 TO JUNEAU COUNTY HIGHWAY FOR 50-50 PETITION: Motion by Hodal to approve the 50-50 Juneau County Highway petition, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. NEXT MONTH MEETING DATE, 2ND MONDAY OF MONTH, FEBRUARY 12, 2024 AT 6:30 PM RECONCILIATION OF JULY–DECEMBER 2023 DEPOSITS & CHECKS: OK, correct and balanced. ADJOURNMENT: Motion by Schumer to adjourn at 6:47 pm, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. Reconciliation finishes at 8:30 pm.
