MONDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 2024 AT 6:30 PM, TOWN HALL, OFFICIAL MINUTES, TOWN OF NECEDAH, WISCONSIN, TOWN BOARD MEETING FINANCIAL MATTERS REVIEW CHECKS FOR PAYMENT: CHECKS APPROVED FOR PAYMENT: Jan Checks # 17369 - 17372 Feb Checks # 17373 -17417 CALL TO ORDER/ PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Meeting was called to order at 6:35 pm, by Chairman Scott Darnell, after check payment review. ROLL CALL: Those present were: Chairman Scott Darnell, Supervisors George Schumer & Ginny Hodal, Clerk Susan Kosinski, Treasurer Cheri Barnharst, Road Supervisor Leo Schultz and Constable Jack Jasinski Sr. Also present were 6 residents, 7 students & 0 non-residents. ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA: Motion by Schumer to accept agenda as presented, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. PUBLIC COMMENTS*: Discussion of extra traffic & detour for when working on roundabout at Hwy 21 & Cty G. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Motion by Hodal to approve the January 8, 2024 Regular Town Board Meeting, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. APPROVAL OF THE TREASURER’S REPORT: Motion by Schumer to approve the Treasurer’s January 31, 2024 report as presented, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. CHAIRMAN REPORT: Juneau County got grant with the DNR & EPA of $2 million for Johnnie Lee Fire cleanup site assessment. ROAD SUPERVISOR REPORT: General maintain, mix salt & sand, and restock for 2025, cutting trees 7th Ave & 25th St, cutting trees with the county on 12th Ave. CONSTABLE REPORT: Complaint of chickens & dogs at large & dragging cut trees across road. DISCUSSION OF ROADS FOR BIDDING: Need to paint RR for railroad crossings, grading roads, crackfilling and sealcoat Siegler, West Bay, Lakeside & 20th Ave. Also will do 27th St W as a LRIP project with $21,000.00 grant. SPRING CLEAN UP INFORMATION: Poster of clean up ok.
