MONDAY, JULY 8, 2024 AT 6:30 PM, TOWN HALL, OFFICIAL MINUTES, TOWN OF NECEDAH, WISCONSIN, TOWN BOARD MEETING FINANCIAL MATTERS REVIEW CHECKS FOR PAYMENT: CHECKS APPROVED FOR PAYMENT: Jun Checks # 17573 - 17577 Jul Checks # 17578 - 17606 CALL TO ORDER/ PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Meeting was called to order at 6:30pm, by Chairman Scott Darnell, after check payment review. ROLL CALL: Those present were: Chairman Scott Darnell, Supervisors George Schumer & Ginny Hodal, Clerk Susan Kosinski, Road Supervisor Leo Schultz and Constable Jack Jasinski Sr. Treasurer Cheri Barnharst was absent. Also present were 7 residents and 0 non-resident. ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA: Motion by Schumer to accept agenda as presented, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. PUBLIC COMMENTS*: Clean up info have request our grant money $7,400. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Motion by Hodal to approve the June 10, 2024 Regular Town Board Meeting, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. APPROVAL OF THE TREASURER’S REPORT: Motion by Schumer to approve the Treasurer’s June 30, 2024 report as presented, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. CHAIRMAN REPORT: Clean Up we spent $10,300. 00 and will get grant money for $7,400.00. We had 7 dumpster that were filled in 1 ½ hour. Hopefully can do again. Johnnie Lee fire county grant has cleaned up 75% of topsoil and 4 dumpsters loaded, next environmental study grant. Looking to work with a grant writer Jewell & Associate for Town. ROAD SUPERVISOR REPORT: Sealcoating, crack fill, &dip fill all done, also grading, patching & mowing done. New 2025 Western Star truck in shop waiting for the fittings. CONSTABLE REPORT: Eight incidents: flooding/high water issues, burnout trucks, bike on airport. APPROVE 3 POLL WORKERS OR 6 FOR SPLIT SHIFT FOR AUGUST 13, 2024 PRIMARY: Motion by Hodal to approve 3 all day or 6 split shift for August 13, 2024 Primary, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. APPROVE 4 OPERATOR LICENSES FOR 2024-2026: Motion by Schumer to approve operator licenses for 2024-2026 for Misty Neuy & Daniel Woelffer at Big Franks & Heather Schmitz & Loral Janociak at Woodbine, pm, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. NEXT MONTH MEETING DATE, 2ND MONDAY OF MONTH, AUGUST 12, 2024 AT 6:30 PM, Chairman Scott Darnell will be absent, George Schumer will act as Chairman.
