1 MONDAY, OCTOBER 8, 2018 AT 6:30 PM, TOWN HALL, OFFICIAL MINUTES, TOWN OF NECEDAH, WISCONSIN, TOWN BOARD MEETING FINANCIAL MATTERS REVIEW CHECKS FOR PAYMENT: CHECKS APPROVED FOR PAYMENT: Sept Checks # 14562 – 14564 & Oct Checks # 14565 – 14598 CALL TO ORDER/ PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Meeting was called to order at 6:30pm, by Chairman Terry Taft, after check payment review. ROLL CALL: Those present were: Chairman Terry Taft, Supervisors George Schumer & Ginny Hodal, Clerk Susan Kosinski, Treasurer Richard Baumgart, Road Supervisor Leo Schultz and Constable Jack Jasinski Sr. Also present were 5 residents and 1 non- resident Jack Akers of Secluded Land Company. ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA: Motion by Hodal to accept agenda as presented, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. PUBLIC COMMENTS*: None APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Motion by Schumer to approve the September 10, 2018 Regular Town Board Meeting and September 27, 2018 Special Town Board Meeting, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. APPROVAL OF THE TREASURER’S REPORT: Motion by Hodal to approve the Treasurer’s September 30, 2018 report as presented, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. ROAD SUPERVISOR REPORT: We have been working on wedging, and patching roads, doing maintenance on trucks, mixing sand/salt, done mowing, set up plows on trucks. CONSTABLE REPORT: The constable dealt with 8 incidents: trash issue, ATV, dog issue and property check. ADRC-AGING AND DISABILITY RESOURCE CENTER, CHARLENE NORBERG PRESENTATION: no show SECLUDED LAND CO, JACK ACKERS, APPROVAL OF A 240 ACRES DEVELOPMENT: Motion by Hodal to approve the 240 acre development as presented into 16 parcels, as long as the 72 acres north of creek is provided easement or legal access to that parcel, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. 2 TRANSFER OF STAR ROUTE MOTEL AND LOUNGE INC 2018-2019 LICENSE FROM AGENT SANDRA A SUDACK TO SHARYN M KILMER: Motion by Hodal to approve the transfer of 2018-2019 Liquor License of Star Route Motel and Lounge Inc License from agent Sandra A Sudack to Sharyn M Kilmer, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. UP TO 16 ELECTION POLL WORKERS FOR NOVEMBER 6, 2018 FALL GENERAL ELECTION: Motion by Hodal to approve up to 16 election poll workers for November 6, 2018 fall general election, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. SET DATE FOR PUBLIC BUDGET HEARING, ELECTOR TOWN MEETING, AND SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING, IF NEEDED: Public Budget Hearing will be Thursday November 15, 2018 at 7:00 pm, with the Elector meeting following and then reconvene back to Town Board meeting which will start at 6:30pm. NEXT MONTH MEETING DATE, 2ND MONDAY OF MONTH, WILL BE CHANGED DUE TO TAFT CONFLICT: Next month meeting will be Thursday November 15, 2018 at 6:30pm. APPROVE 2019 BUDGET SUMMARY FOR PAPER: Motion by Hodal to approve the 2019 Budget Summary for newspaper as presented, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3.
