1 MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2018 AT 6:30 PM, TOWN HALL, OFFICIAL MINUTES, TOWN OF NECEDAH, WISCONSIN, TOWN BOARD MEETING FINANCIAL MATTERS REVIEW CHECKS FOR PAYMENT: CHECKS APPROVED FOR PAYMENT: Aug Checks # 14514 – 14520 & Sep Checks # 14521 – 14561 CALL TO ORDER/ PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Meeting was called to order at 6:36 pm, by Chairman Terry Taft, after check payment review. ROLL CALL: Those present were: Chairman Terry Taft, Supervisors George Schumer & Ginny Hodal, Clerk Susan Kosinski, Treasurer Richard Baumgart, and Constable Jack Jasinski Sr. Road Supervisor Leo Schultz was excused absent. Also present were 8 residents and 3 non-residents ( James Newlund-CDR, Tanya-Necedah School & Star- Times). ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA: Motion by Hodal to accept agenda as presented, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Motion by Schumer to approve the August 9, 2018 Regular Town Board, August 31, 2018 Special Board, September 5, 2018 Board of Review, & September 6, 2018 Special Board meetings, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. APPROVAL OF THE TREASURER’S REPORT: Motion by Hodal to approve the Treasurer’s August 31, 2018 report as presented, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. ROAD SUPERVISOR REPORT: Report given by Taft, we have been patching, grading, planting grass seed on 7th Ave, spraying roundup on road edge and mixing sand/salt. CONSTABLE REPORT: Ten incidents: dogs, the military noises, ATV, trash and also property checks. CAMP DOUGLAS RESUCE EMS UPDATE BY JAMES NEWLUN: He spoke of the of the staffing, need wage increase & some benefits, more Medicaid & Medicare calls but minimum reimbursement by them, and regular payer falling behind. ADJUST CAMP DOUGLAS RESCUE EMS CONTRACT, FOR THE $1.50 ADDITIONAL COST PER PERSON: Motion by Hodal to adjust the 2018 camp Douglas Rescue EMS Ambulance contract by an increase of $150.00 per person, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. 2 STARK & ZIPPERER TRESPASSING ON THE SHRINE ROAD WITH NO ROAD AIDS: Items in roadway. Motion by Hodal to have Town contact Stark & Zipperer to remove the items from roadway within 30 days, if Town needs to remove they will be charged, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. SET BUDGET WORKSHOP DATE: Thursday September @ 5:30 pm for budget workshop NEXT MONTH MEETING DATE, 2ND MONDAY OF MONTH, OCTOBER 8, 2018 @ 6:30 PM: PUBLIC COMMENTS*: Old mobile homes & abandon cars on property at 22nd St & 7th Ave, needs to be cleaned up, there is a Juneau County Peace & Good order ordinance, information given. ROLL CALL: Present were Chairman Terry Taft, Supervisors George Schumer & Ginny Hodal, Clerk Susan Kosinski, Treasurer Richard Baumgart, Constable Jack Jasinski Sr.and Road Supervisor Leo Schultz. BUDGET WORKSHOP/DISCUSSION/MOTION TO APPROVE FOR BUDGET HEARING: Budget wasn’t final. ADJOURNMENT: Motion by Hodal, seconded by Schumer, to adjourn, carried aye-3.
