MONDAY, APRIL 9, 2018 AT 6:30 PM, TOWN HALL, OFFICIAL MINUTES, TOWN OF NECEDAH, WISCONSIN, TOWN BOARD MEETING FINANCIAL MATTERS REVIEW CHECKS FOR PAYMENT: CHECKS APPROVED FOR PAYMENT: Mar Checks # 14278 – 14286 & Apr Checks # 14287 – 14331 CALL TO ORDER/ PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Meeting was called to order at 6:38 pm, by Chairman Terry Taft, after check payment review. ROLL CALL: Those present were: Chairman Terry Taft, Supervisors George Schumer & Ginny Hodal, Clerk Susan Kosinski, Treasurer Richard Baumgart, Road Supervisor Leo Schultz and Constable Jack Jasinski Sr. Also present were 11 residents and1 non- residents. ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA: Motion by Schumer to accept agenda as presented, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Motion by Hodal to approve the March 12, 2018 Regular Town Board Meeting, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. APPROVAL OF THE TREASURER’S REPORT: Motion by Schumer to approve the Treasurer’s March 31, 2018 report as presented, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. ROAD SUPERVISOR REPORT: We have been brushing, cutting trees, pick up litter & tires. We also removed weight limit signs. CONSTABLE REPORT: The constable dealt with 8 incidents: trash issue, ATV, and property check. VARIANCE FOR C DUEWERTH’S TRAILER SO CAN BE MOVED TO K DZIEWIT’S LOT: Motion by Hodal to grant the variance to C Duewerth for the trailer due to him upgrading, and since in good condition can be moved to K Dziewit,s parcel, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. ADD SANDRA HARRY TO 2018-2019 POLL WORKER LIST: Motion by Schumer to add Sandra Harry to 2018-2019 poll worker list, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. SELECT ROADS FOR 2018 ROAD PROJECT: Motion by Hodal to gets bids for 2018 single seal coat for roads listed: Cary Rock. Timber Ln, 28th St E, & portion of 12th Ave, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. SET DATE FOR OPENING OF ROAD BIDS: Motion by Hodal to open bids May 3, 2018 at 6:30pm, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. ROAD WORKER POSITION: Currently will do with part time worker & Road Supervisor. EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK REVISIONS: Tabled NEXT MONTH MEETING DATE, 2ND MONDAY OF MONTH, MAY 14, 2018 @ 6:30 PM: ANNUAL MEETING APRIL 17, 2018 @ 7:00PM PUBLIC HEARING FOR DISCONTINUATION OF PORTION OF ROADWAY OF PARCEL # 290281297 ON APRIL 17, 2018 @ 6:30PM PUBLIC COMMENTS: Discussion of constable report.
