MONDAY, MARCH 12, 2018 AT 6:30 PM, TOWN HALL, OFFICIAL MINUTES, TOWN OF NECEDAH, WISCONSIN, TOWN BOARD MEETING FINANCIAL MATTERS REVIEW CHECKS FOR PAYMENT: CHECKS APPROVED FOR PAYMENT: Mar Checks # 14238 – 14277 CALL TO ORDER/ PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm, by Chairman Terry Taft, after check payment review. ROLL CALL: Those present were: Chairman Terry Taft, Supervisors George Schumer & Ginny Hodal, Clerk Susan Kosinski, Treasurer Richard Baumgart, Road Supervisor Leo Schultz and Constable Jack Jasinski Sr. Also present were 12 residents and 2 non- residents Tanya Necedah School Administrator and Scott Southworth. PRESENTATION BY SCOTT SOUTHWORTH FOR JUNEAU COUNTY JUDGE: ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA: Motion by Schumer to accept agenda as presented, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Motion by Schumer to approve the February 12, 2018 Regular Town Board Meeting, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. APPROVAL OF THE TREASURER’S REPORT: Motion by Schumer to approve the Treasurer’s February 28, 2018 report as presented, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. ROAD SUPERVISOR REPORT: Refuge roads closed. Doing patching and cutting brush on 12th Ave. Thanks to my part time worker nice job. CONSTABLE REPORT: The constable dealt with 9 incidents: trash issue, ATV, and property check. APPROVAL RESOLUTION 2018-2 DISCONTINUATION OF A PORTION OF ROADWAY OF PARCEL # 290281297: Motion by Schumer to approve resolution 2018-2 discontinuation of portion of roadway of parcel # 290281297, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3, roll call vote Taft yes, Schumer yes, & Hodal yes. Public hearing to be April 23, 2018 at 6:30 pm.. UP TO 10 ELECTION POLL WORKERS FOR APRIL 3, 2018 SPRING ELECTION: Motion by Hodal to approve up to 10 poll workers for April 3, 2018 election, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. FINANCIAL REVIEW OF DEPOSITS & CHECKS NOV-DEC 2017 & JAN-FEB 2018: Ok NEXT MONTH MEETING DATE, 2ND MONDAY OF MONTH, APRIL 9, 2018 @ 6:30 PM & Annual meeting April 17, 2018 at 7:00 pm: PUBLIC COMMENTS: Thank you to the road supervisor and crew nice job of plowing. The 12th Ave brushing job job looks very nice.Discussion of upcoming school referendum. MOTION & ROLL VOTE TO GO INTO CLOSED SESSION PER WL STATUE 19.85(1)(C) CONSIDER HIRING LEGAL COUNSEL FOR PUBLIC WORKS EMPLOYEE MATTER: Motion by Hodal to go into closed session at 7:19 pm, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. RECONVENE INTO OPEN SESSION: Motion by Hodal to reconvene to open session at 8:02pm, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. MOTION, IF NECESSARY FROM THE MATTER DISCUSSED IN CLOSED SESSION: No motion.
