MONDAY, JANUARY 8, 2018 AT 6:30 PM, TOWN HALL, OFFICIAL MINUTES, TOWN OF NECEDAH, WISCONSIN, TOWN BOARD MEETING FINANCIAL MATTERS REVIEW CHECKS FOR PAYMENT: CHECKS APPROVED FOR PAYMENT: Dec Checks # 14133 – 14139 & Jan Checks # 14140 – 14183 CALL TO ORDER/ PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Meeting was called to order at 6:38 pm, by Chairman Terry Taft, after check payment review. ROLL CALL: Those present were: Chairman Terry Taft, Supervisors George Schumer & Ginny Hodal, Clerk Susan Kosinski, Road Supervisor Leo Schultz and Constable Jack Jasinski Sr. Treasurer Richard Baumgart was excused absent for sick. Also present were 11 residents and 2 non-residents, including Nick Perrone from Camp Douglas Rescue and Tanya Necedah School Administrator. ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA: Motion by Schumer to accept agenda as presented, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Motion by Schumer to approve the December 11, 2017 Regular Town Board Meeting as presented, seconded by Hodal and carried aye- 3. APPROVAL OF THE TREASURER’S REPORT: Motion by Hodal to approve the Treasurer’s December 31, 2017 report as presented, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. ROAD SUPERVISOR REPORT: We have been cutting trees and brush from ditches, plowing & sand/salt roads as needed. Working on repairs with the equipment. CONSTABLE REPORT: The constable dealt with 6 incidents: trash & tire issues, and property check. CAMP DOUGLAS AMBULANCE UPDATE: Nick Perrone, the new director, spoke of staff issue, advanced level vs paramedic, county wide ambulance, 1st, responders and cost going up, he will have more information later. REPLACEMENT OF BOOM MOWER: George Schumer abstained himself from the room for working on deal. Motion by Hodal to purchase the Diamond Boom Mower DBM-C-N for $45,830.00 and trade in old boom mower to JJ brushing for $6,500, seconded by Taft and carried aye-3. APPROVE RESOLUTION 2018-1 SUPPORT OF BUG TUSSEL WIRELESS: Motion by Hodal to approve Resolution 2018-1Support of Bug Tussel Wireless, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. A letter of support was also written and sent. APPROVE ORDINANCE # 12 MUNICIPAL COURT AMENDMENT #1: Motion by Hodal to approve Ordinance #12 amendment #1 the addition of Lyndon Station to the Municipal Court, seconded by Schumer and carried aye-3. APPROVE $500.00 TO JUNEAU COUNTY HIGHWAY FOR 50-50 PETITION: Motion by Schumer to approve $500.00 to Juneau County Highway Dept for the 50/50 Petition, seconded by Hodal and carried aye-3. NEXT MONTH MEETING DATE, 2ND MONDAY OF MONTH: Monday February 12, 2018 at 6:30 pm, PUBLIC COMMENT: Discussion of the Marquis Energy donation check.
